We'll kick off the event with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to Pershing East and our partner, Greater Goods Roasting Co., who has provided the delightful coffees we'll be tasting. We'll explore an array of coffees arranged by roast level: 2 light roasts (Fresh Perspective & Take Me Home), 2 medium roasts (Bright Minds & Spark), 2 dark roasts (Good Vibes & Rise & Shine), and 1 decaf option (Low Strung). Participants will learn about the SCA Flavor Wheel, the three main coffee processes, and the unique tasting notes associated with each. Guests will fill out sheets to track their aromas and flavors while engaging in a guided cupping procedure.
