What is a “TNT”?

Thursday Night Throwdown, baby! Every last Thursday of the month, Austin baristas gather to pour their best milk bevs in a bracket-style latte art competition.

How do I sign up?

Show up early! We’ll be by the door at 7 p.m. with the sign up sheet and bracket. It’s $5 to pour and we accept cash and Venmo. Watching is free :-)

What’s the format?

We use a 32-person single elimination bracket. Baristas will go head to head over three rounds, with the losers being knocked out (we still love you) and the winners moving to the next round.

Round 1: Hearts

Round 2: Tulips

Round 3: Rosettas

Semi-Finals: Barista’s Choice

Finals: Host Cafe Choice

What am I being judged on?

Symmetry, contrast, and definition. Don’t worry, we’ll go over what all these things mean when you get here.

Can I be a judge?
